Kingston upon Hull swimming club volunteer Pam Grange’s voice may have been heard for the last time around the Ennerdale pool at galas. Pam will step down from her post as gala public address announcer at the end of the year.

Pam started her volunteer work in swimming at South Hunsley around 18 years ago when her daughter Bekkie started swimming, she then moved onto South Holderness swimming club and finally onto Kingston upon Hull swimming club 9 years ago. Despite her daughter Bekki finishing swimming 6 years ago, Pam continued to help out at the clubs galas spending many long weekends on the microphone. Head coach Peter Richardson was on hand to present Pam with a bouquet and thank her for all her hard work and commitment to the club, and to wish her well for the future.
