Junior C was represented by just one brave sole for this tough event of 800m FC. Anya Betts took all the pressure on to her shoulders & showed once again what a talented young swimmer she is. With this being the first time that Anya has ever attempted a race of this difference she was certainly feeling the stress beforehand but along with the support of the other swimmers & her own first class attitude & positivity she not only completed the race but did it in an amazing fashion. Anya was tasked to hit a specific time by her coach & as usual she outperformed all expectations of her and came in 9 seconds quicker. In an event that Anya is destined to excel in the more she performs it, she has given herself an excellent starting point.
