JOIN THE CLUB
SO YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE KUHSC?
KUHSC is not part of the learn to swim programs, therefore to join the club you must be able to swim widths, without the use of aids, displaying a basic understanding of the two core strokes in frontcrawl and backstroke.
Swimmers between the ages of 5 & 8 are able to join our beginners squad, Tadpoles. In order to be assessed on your suitability for the squad, please email the assistant head coach Tom Rhodes –coach@kuhsc.co.uk to arrange a suitable time for you to come and see us.
What if my swimmer is older than 9yrs?
Swimmers 9 yrs and above are able to join KUHSC, however you must be a good swimmer, and be able to show competency and stamina in frontcrawl, backstroke and breaststroke. Applications from swimmers who currently compete for other swimming clubs are also excepted .
If joining us as an older swimmer we will arrange a time to assess you and aim to place you in a squad that’s suitable and matches your current performing ability.
When joining the club, we’ll show you what’s required; talk about stamina and expected training routines. In the meantime, feel free to visit our ‘Club Squad” pages where you can find additional information on monthly fees and annual subscription charges. You might also want to have a look at the “Wet Side” page, which provides you with information on training days and times.
Any other questions you may have can be asked using the form below, other wise we look forward to seeing you poolside.
